Associate Services Support Coordinator

The Associate Services Support Coordinator provides individualized support services to associates through advocacy, community resource coordination, employment support, and implementation of individualized support strategies. This role assists associates in accessing resources, supporting associates in their facility-based employment choice, and building skills that promote independence and personal growth. The Associate Services Support Coordinator will also support continuity of Occupational Therapy services designed through community partnerships and internship collaborations while strengthening associate engagement and community outreach efforts. This role requires a flexible, personable, and highly organized individual with strong rapport-building skills and a passion for advocacy and individualized support.

Position reports to: Program Director
FLSA Classification: Full-time, Non-exempt (hourly)
Compensation range: $20.00 - $24.00/hour
Hours of Operation: 7:30AM - 4:00PM, hours may vary
Location: Kansas City, MO
 
General Responsibilities
Responsible for providing individualized associate support services, light case management, employment support, implementation of individualized support strategies, and community resource coordination. Will support continuation of Occupational Therapy-based activities and strengthen community outreach efforts that enhance associate independence and engagement.
 
Duties

  • Provide individualized 1:1 support and advocacy to associates
  • Assist associates with accessing community resources and support services
  • Support associates in their supported work environment and helping with transitions to employment opportunities outside of Southeast Enterprises if desired.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and rapport with associates, caregivers, staff, and community partners
  • Support implementation of individualized behavioral supports and intervention strategies as directed
  • Continue and reinforce Occupational Therapy activities and supports designed through KU internship partnerships or other community collaborations
  • Assist associates in building independent living, social, communication, and workplace readiness skills
  • Monitor associate progress and maintain organized documentation and records
  • Participate in community outreach efforts and help strengthen community partnerships
  • Assist in identifying associate needs, barriers, and opportunities for additional support services
  • Collaborate with leadership and staff to ensure continuity of care and individualized support planning
  • Promote dignity, self-determination, inclusion, and advocacy
  • Promote and uphold company ethics and mission
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
 
Qualifications
  • Experience in case management, direct support, social services, or related field preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred
  • Exposure to ABA principles, behavior support plans, or behavioral intervention implementation preferred
  • Strong rapport-building, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced or changing environments
  • Compassionate, flexible, and team-oriented approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and documentation systems
  • Experience with SetWorks or similar documentation systems preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
 
 
Work Environment
This Job operates in an office environment as well as on the production floor, other work indoor and outdoor environments, and out in the community. It will require sitting, standing, walking, bending, the ability to lift up to 25lbs, and occasionally transporting employees driving the company vehicle. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
