Hope Ambassador Program Manager - Bilingual
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Program Management
-
Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Hope Ambassador program
-
Collaborate with both staff and volunteer team members to effectively run programs, including the delegation of tasks to volunteers and volunteer teams
-
Conduct ongoing program evaluations and assessments to ensure the programs meet annual goals and strategic plan objectives

Foster relationships with single moms

Support Boutique team as needed to create safe spaces for single-mom clients to access clothing resources
-
Volunteer Management
- Work with Volunteer Manager to recruit and retain Hope Ambassador volunteers
- Plan and lead Hope Ambassador volunteer trainings
- Manage and provide ongoing feedback to volunteers
- In partnership with the Program Director, assess and mitigate client and volunteer risk
- Work with the Communications Manager to promote volunteer needs via all TSMKC communication channels, including website, social media, presentations, and e-newsletters
- Maintain volunteer information through data input via the VolunteerLocal Platform and NEON CRM
3. Community Resource Partnerships

In partnership with the Volunteer Coordinator, secure volunteers and team members for community resource events to establish/maintain strong community partnerships

Coordinate event details with team members who will be on sight to ensure events are safe, effective, and welcoming

Train volunteers who can represent The Single Mom KC at community events
4. Financial Planning and Management

Administer the programming funds and monthly cash flow according to the approved budget while utilizing sound bookkeeping/accounting procedures

Participate in fundraising activities as appropriate
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
-
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related fields
-
Three years experience in case management, program management, or social work fields
-
Fluency in written and spoken Spanish
-
Awareness of current community challenges and opportunities related to single-mother families
-
Ability to use computers for word processing, financial management, email, and Internet
-
Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills
-
Strong conflict management skills
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Three years experience in managing volunteers and teams
-
Demonstration of strong leadership abilities, including leading a team and delegating effectively
-
Excellent written and communication skills
-
Experience working within a ministry is a plus
Hiring Details
-
WORK HOURS: This is a full-time position. Some evening and weekend work will be required (approximately 15% of the time). TSMKC offers flexible scheduling and a hybrid work setting.

TRAVEL: Regular travel throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area to develop community resources.

BENEFITS: Full-time benefits include unlimited PTO, flexible scheduling, and a hybrid work setting. Health insurance is not available.

SALARY: The salary range for this position is $40,000-$45,000 depending on education and experience.
