Housing Systems Coordinator
Rose Brooks Center, a non-profit domestic violence agency, seeks a Housing System Coordinator whose primary role is to provide internal project management of a supportive services program that addresses the unique housing and safety needs of survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. Responsibilities include development, evaluation and maintenance of the process associated with the database that tracks survivors’ progress through the local Coordinated Entry (homeless services) System. Database responsibilities further include data entry, data management, quality assurance monitoring, and collaboration with partner agencies to ensure survivors have safe, confidential, equitable access to housing assistance. This position also provides training and consultation to internal and external service providers on survivor-centered practices that maximize client choice, safety and confidentiality, with topics including but not limited to safety planning, access to community resources, and laws protecting survivors’ rights and housing. This person will work directly with survivors to provide safety planning, crisis intervention, resources access, assessing and addressing potential housing barriers, and developing and executing an individualized housing and service plan, which may include diverting survivors out of the homeless service system. The Housing System Coordinator supports the mission and values of Rose Brooks Center and reports to the Director of Housing and Economic Advocacy.

- Perform all job responsibilities while demonstrating proficiency in all RBC competencies and utilizing the principles of trauma informed care, and accessibility; demonstrates commitment to the overall mission of Rose Brooks Center.
- Perform functions of job according to agency policies and procedures.
- Attend scheduled staff and team meetings; participate in all required trainings.
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
- Two years of case management/related experience, preferably in a domestic violence agency and/or commensurate experience
- Direct service experience with vulnerable populations, preferably working with survivors of domestic/sexual violence trauma
- Program development and project management experience
- Demonstrated leadership capacity
- Proven organizational, prioritization and time management skills
- Thorough knowledge of domestic violence dynamics and best practices
- Direct service experience with vulnerable populations
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively and build and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally, including community partners
- Experience in developing and delivering training to small and large groups, in person and remotely
- Ability to function independently with minimal direct supervision
- Proficient use of MS Office/Windows operating system, client services database systems (preferably HMIS-comparable)
- Valid Driver’s license and proof of liability insurance
- Bachelor's degree in social work/human services, or a related field or commensurate; courses or classwork related to human services, social work, etc. is preferred and not required.
- Experience with Coordinated Entry System and administering HUD grants preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish
Compensation: This position falls into a salary range starting at $46,000 annually (exempt).
