Wellness Center -Welcome Desk Attendant

Position Overview

The Welcome Desk Attendant will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the Calvary Community Wellness Center. This individual will provide exceptional customer service by admitting and enrolling members into the facility, sharing information about organizational programs, conducting facility tours as needed, assisting with food distribution programs, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the facility. Administrative assistance for CCON's programs will also be required.

 

Work Schedule

  • Weekdays: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Weekends: 1st and 4th Saturdays of the month, 7:45 AM - 12:15 PM

Major Duties

  • Staff and oversee the facility during designated shift times.
  • Ensure facility policies and procedures are enforced and maintained for staff and patrons.
  • Perform data entry tasks, including registering members and collecting membership information.
  • Answer telephones, file documents, and facilitate messaging for staff and patrons.
  • Assist with daily janitorial and housekeeping maintenance tasks, such as cleaning restrooms, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, and shoveling snow.
  • Manage weekly food distribution for community residents, including lifting at least 25 lbs. of food and other products.
  • Walk between two buildings as needed to complete tasks effectively.
  • Assist with meeting preparations, including setup, breakdown, and clean-up.
  • Learn and provide fitness equipment orientations for new members.

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
