It's the International Year of Volunteers!
| Did you know? It's the International Year of Volunteers! Across the globe, volunteerism is being recognized, and at Kanbe's: where your hands move food onto plates everyday, we know just how powerful and far reaching your efforts are. Because volunteers like you showed up, we redirected over 1.7 million pounds of food away from landfills. 1 million of that went directly to feeding people! Hand in hand with our community partners, volunteers provided over 6,800,000 servings of fresh produce to neighbors and became part of a growing garden of supporters, all working together to build a better food system! This year, there will be a lot more food moving through our warehouse, and it's volunteers like you who make it possible to move it onto shelves, into homes, and onto the tables of neighbors who need it. When you show up at Kanbe's, you don't just sort food, you make it possible to expand access and reach more neighbors through our hunger relief partners and open the door for even greater community impact.
