SparkWheel Welcomes Alexis Carter-Black as Chief Development Officer
LAWRENCE, KS — SparkWheel is thrilled to announce the appointment of Alexis Carter-Black as its new Chief Development Officer. With a remarkable career spanning over 25 years in the public sector, Alexis brings a wealth of experience and expertise in fundraising, strategic planning, and organizational development to SparkWheel.
Throughout her career, Alexis has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to advancing mission-driven organizations. Her work has encompassed key roles in government and nonprofit sectors, with a focus on education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and public policy advocacy. She has successfully raised over $100 million, contributing to transformative initiatives that prioritize positive societal impact.
Alexis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Her passion for cultivating meaningful relationships makes her an ideal leader for SparkWheel’s fund development efforts.
