Let's Connect: Events
Hybrid events are here to stay. As you start planning for your next event season, you'll need to assess all of the options (in-person, hybrid, totally virtual) and ensure that your committee and director are all in alignment with the best strategy to bring your event to life. Each event style comes with a unique set of pros-and-cons as well as different approaches to unlock maximum success. If you're looking for guidance on how to structure your events moving forward, then this session is for you.
Join Trisha Brauer with Taking Bids Fundraising to learn what you need to know to plan for successful events in 2022. She will help you crystalize lessons from the past two years of chaotic event planning and give solid advice on what you can do now to ensure less-stress in the spring event season.
Then, we'll use breakout rooms to facilitate small group discussions. You will have the opportunity to brainstorm together, exchange ideas, and gain new insight from your nonprofit peers. This session is ideal for fundraisers and event managers.

Speakers:
Trisha Brauer is the owner and lead auctioneer at Taking Bids Fundraising. Taking Bids Fundraising is based in Kansas City and is leading the industry with record-smashing methods to raise money for nonprofits. She holds a Bachelors degree and an MBA. She completed her auction training at World Wide College of Auctioneering. She is on the Board for the National Auctioneers Association (NAA), is a member of state associations for Iowa, Kansas, Colorado and Missouri, and she completed her Certified Auctioneer Institute designation. She also serves as a Councilwoman on City Council for Roeland Park.
