As volunteer managers you know the critical role volunteers play in helping achieve your organization’s mission. Even still, sometimes our organization may view volunteer management as “herding cats,” instead of recognizing the esteemed role our volunteers play. Reframing our volunteer management practices to be more mindful and inclusive takes work.
We'll use breakout rooms to facilitate small group discussions. You will have the opportunity to share your volunteer management policies and practices, ask questions about retaining volunteers during COVID, and gain new insight from your nonprofit peers.
