Presenters
Monica Tiffany, Creative Director/Principal, specializes in developing effective communications strategy for companies and organizations. She has written for Shriners Hospitals for Children, National Geographic, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the American Red Cross, to name a few.Monica served as VP of Marketing and Communications for the Association of Fundraising Professionals—Greater Kansas City Chapter. She is a member of the Reach Out and Read KC Community Council. A Mizzou graduate, Monica also serves on the MU English Leaders Development Board helping to promote the university’s English Department and connect recent graduates with career opportunities.
As a professional creative director and copywriter, she speaks to both local and national audiences about copywriting, messaging and creative strategy. Prior to joining M&C, Monica spent five years in nonprofit association management.
Meggan Rorvig, Vice President of Marketing and Development, joined M&C in 2018. She leads the company’s marketing efforts and also works with a variety of client accounts, including Veterans of Foreign Wars and the International Essential Tremor Foundation. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Communications and Political Science and a master’s degree in Public Affairs from the University of Missouri.
Meggan has a long history in nonprofit fundraising and marketing. Most recently, she dedicated seven years to The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, raising more than $1 million annually through direct mail, digital fundraising, annual giving and membership campaigns. She is also skilled in event and community-based fundraising, having spent a combined nine years as a volunteer and an employee of The American Cancer Society. Additionally, Meggan spent several years as a project manager for Ascend Integrated Media, specializing in event and custom media for medical associations and trade shows.
Meggan is passionate about devoting her personal and professional time to helping our nonprofit community thrive and grow. She currently serves as an Ambassador for United WE and holds annual fundraising events benefiting Children’s Mercy Hospital.
