Kanbe’s Markets is on a mission to build a more inclusive food system in Kansas City by transforming food loss into food access. We achieve this through a distinctive business model that connects local food sources, supports small businesses, and uplifts communities one neighborhood at a time.

Community Food Partner Assistant
Each day more than 10 Community Food Partners pick up rescued produce from Kanbe's to bring back to their organizations and serve members of the Kansas City community. This opportunity is a great way to work face to face with those feeding our neighbors! We are looking for individuals to join us daily in assisting our operations team in preparing food pallets and loading Community Food Partners vehicles out of our warehouse space.
