Financial Accountant and Grants Billing Coordinator
Financial Accountant and Grants Billing Coordinator
Rose Brooks Center, a non-profit domestic violence agency, seeks a full-time, Financial Accountant and Grants Billing Coordinator reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. This position provides donation accounting processing as well as review support in relation to donations received. In addition, performs monthly and quarterly grant billing for cost reimbursement and scheduled grants which include invoicing and grant accounts receivable management. As part of the grant billing, tracks & reconciles revenue and expense to grant budget and prepare or assist with preparation of grant budgets, proposals and renewals. Performs various other accounting, review and reconciliation functions within the finance department responsibilities. This position also supports the month end accounting review and close as well as assists with audit preparation and document management for functional area of responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/related field and/or commensurate combination of education and experience.
- 4 years of experience in non-profit accounting and grant administration and/or commensurate experience
- Considerable knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Able to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, which requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to function independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize, which requires excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail, action oriented and creative problem-solver.
- Able to accurately work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, including NetSuite, Microsoft Office and other software.
- Provide a valid driver’s license and car insurance with an ability to meet Rose Brooks Center’s driving requirements for the job position.
Compensation:
This position falls into a salary range starting at a minimum of $55,000 annually (exempt).
Work Hours:
This position is a full-time, exempt position. It requires limited local travel and flexible work hours, including some evenings and weekends.
