Transportation Manager

Eitas is currently hiring for a Transportation Manager:

  • Full time schedule
  • Pay Range starting at $79,870 Annually
  • Comprehensive benefit package, including health, vision, and dental

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • The Transportation Manager will plan and coordinate all aspects of daily operation for the Division of Transportation (DOT)
  • ?Set clear expectations for safety standards and procedures for DOT staff and ensure that they are followed. Collaborate with the Safety Coordinator to review and revise those processes and procedures as needed
  • ?Manage DOT operations to ensure eitas fulfills our Missouri DMH ( Dept of Mental Health) contract requirements. Maintain current knowledge of DMH regulations and contracts to ensure compliance. Monitor the services DOT Drivers provide to our passengers so that DMH outcomes can be tracked and reported to the appropriate Support Coordinator.
  • ?Audit eitas’ transportation billing quarterly to ensure that DOT maximizes billing for DMH-eligible funding and that all riders who are eligible pursue Medicaid Waivers to fund their transportation. Create plans for improved DOT billing processes to support the financial stability of eitas as necessary.
  • ?Ensure competent, qualified candidates are interviewed, hired and trained for DOT positions. Review all applications with DOT Supervisors to select qualified candidates.
  • Monitor and maintain eitas’ established accreditation standards. Collaborate with the Director of Transportation Operations and DOT staff to develop meaningful program outcomes, track data, and report on that data to the Board of Directors. Assign DOT projects in preparation for accreditation surveys and maintenance of accreditation status. Implement accreditation standards as part of DOT practices and support services.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, Automotive Technology, or closely related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • ?Seven to ten years of progressively responsible supervisory experience with at least three of those years in upper level or executive management.

A combination of training, education and work experience performing similar duties will also be considered.
