About Us
NorthWest Communities Development Corporation (NWCDC) was established in 1997. The organization originally served North Western Independence, currently many programs serve all of Independence and surrounding areas.
At the NWCDC it is our mission to improve lives in our community by promoting programs that focus on seniors, youth, housing, public safety, and public service.
Community is both a physical place--houses, streets, schools and churches, and of course, relationships.
It's the relationships that bind us together, support one another and provides us our community identity and home we call Independence, Missouri
