Pinnacle Winds Concert on June 30

Pinnacle Winds, Kansas City’s professional-level concert band, announces the fourth concert of its fourth season to occur on Sunday, June 30, 2024, beginning at 2:00 pm in the beautiful concert hall at the Bell Cultural Center on the campus of MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, KS. The concert is entitled “American Echoes: Honoring our Heroes,” and will feature nationally renowned conductor Dr. Roby George as our guest conductor for the concert. He will be sharing podium duties with Pinnacle Winds conductor, Dr. John C. Carmichael. Compositions to be presented include American Salute by Gould, The Ramparts by Williams, American Hymnsong Suite by Milburn, Who’s Who in Navy Blue by Sousa, Armed Forces Salute by Lowden, Hymn to the Fallen by J. Williams, and Until Morning Come by Boss. This will be an exciting and enjoyable concert performed by some of the most accomplished instrumentalists in the Kansas City area. The concert has admission charges of $20 for general admission and $10 for Seniors and Students. Tickets may be bought on the Pinnacle Winds Website or at the door. Additionally, donations will be gladly received at the door.
