We're bringing Marcy Heim, CFRE, a respected authority in enhancing major gift success, to Kansas City to offer a clear understanding of crafting an ask. As she says, "a confused donor doesn't give, and a confused fundraiser doesn't ask."

Join us to meet Marcy and learn how to think through the entire process of asking for a donation. You'll be able to apply this ask formula not only to major gifts requests, but also to event sponsors, operations, board service, endowment gifts and annual fund leadership gifts.

3. Write and deliver an ask right in the session!

Marcy Heim, CFRE, CSP, is an author, international speaker and development coach. Her teaching reflects over twenty years of in-the-trenches development, major gift fundraising and management experience.  She holds the prestigious CASE Crystal Apple, The AFP Outstanding Fundraising Professional award, and has the AFP Master Teacher designation.

Marcy's firm, The Artful Asker, provides coaching programs for boards, faculty and development staff.  Her clients include a vast array of educational institutions and social, environmental, faith-based, healthcare and arts organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
