Let's Connect: Operations + Finance with Beto Lopez
Managing finance and operations for complex nonprofits is never easy. Throw in a global pandemic, and you likely faced more operational challenges in the past year than ever before. Fortunately, from the chaos comes great learnings and opportunities to institutionalize new practices that will benefit your organization in the years to come.
Join this session to hear how Guadalupe Centers adapted to overcome the challenges of the past year. In this first part of this session, Beto Lopez, Chief Operations Officer at Guadalupe Centers, will share the struggles and successes of the past year. As a transplant from the private sector, Beto pulled from his past professional experience to move through the challenges of 2020.
All finance, operations, and admin professionals are welcome to join this dynamic conversation and hear the key lessons Guadalupe Centers learned, including developing scenario plans, maintaining flexibility, and remembering to breathe.
In the second part of the session, we’ll move into breakout rooms to encourage small group discussion and networking. You will have the opportunity to share your perspective, ask questions, and gain insight from your nonprofit peers.
This is a program of the Let's Connect: Virtual Discussion Series.
