About Flourish Furniture Bank:
Flourish Furniture Bank is Kansas City’s only furniture bank, serving families and individuals across Kansas and Missouri. Our 49,000-square-foot warehouse and showroom in Grandview, Missouri, is filled with furniture and household goods generously donated by local businesses and residents. We upcycle these items, transforming them into essential resources for our neighbors in need. Through a personalized and supportive shopping experience, we empower guests to choose the furnishings that best fit their needs and preferences, completely free of charge.

Host Volunteer Responsibilities:
As a Host, you’ll be a welcoming guide for families as they navigate their shopping experience at Flourish. Your role is to assist guests in selecting furniture and household items, answer questions, and provide warm, compassionate support throughout their visit. You’ll help ensure families feel comfortable, respected, and empowered as they make choices for their new homes. This people-focused role is perfect for those who enjoy connecting with others, offering encouragement, and making every guest feel valued. Your kindness and guidance help transform what could be an overwhelming process into a positive, uplifting experience for every family we serve. This role requires extra training and additional time commitments.

This Volunteer Opportunity is promoted by Nonprofit Connect.
