About Flourish Furniture Bank:
Flourish Furniture Bank is Kansas City’s only furniture bank, serving families and individuals across Kansas and Missouri. Our 49,000-square-foot warehouse and showroom in Grandview, Missouri, is filled with furniture and household goods generously donated by local businesses and residents. We upcycle these items, transforming them into essential resources for our neighbors in need. Through a personalized and supportive shopping experience, we empower guests to choose the furnishings that best fit their needs and preferences, completely free of charge.
Packing Team Volunteer Responsibilities:
As a member of the Packing Team, you’ll make sure each guest’s new household items arrive home safely and in perfect condition. Your main responsibilities include carefully wrapping, boxing, and packing everything from dishes and glassware to delicate decor, ensuring nothing breaks on the journey from our showroom to our guests’ homes. This detail-oriented role is perfect for volunteers who take pride in thoughtful preparation and want to add a caring touch to every family’s experience. Your efforts help families start fresh with everything they need, intact and ready to use in their new space.
