About Flourish Furniture Bank:
Flourish Furniture Bank is Kansas City’s only furniture bank, serving families and individuals across Kansas and Missouri. Our 49,000-square-foot warehouse and showroom in Grandview, Missouri, is filled with furniture and household goods generously donated by local businesses and residents. We upcycle these items, transforming them into essential resources for our neighbors in need. Through a personalized and supportive shopping experience, we empower guests to choose the furnishings that best fit their needs and preferences, completely free of charge.
Inventory Department Volunteer Responsibilities:
As a volunteer in the Inventory Department, you’ll play a key role in keeping our showroom fully stocked and organized. Responsibilities include refilling the showroom with furniture, moving inventory from storage areas, and transporting items to the dock for loading onto trucks. This role requires the ability to lift heavy items or push heavy carts. If you enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and making an immediate impact, the Inventory Department is a great fit for you. Your efforts help ensure every guest can find what they need to make their house a home.
