Let's Connect: Finance
Your organization has adapted and changed dramatically over the last few months - and your financial processes are no exception! From developing multiple budget scenarios, to increasing meetings with board finance committees, many organizations are adapting their budgeting and financial review process to help cope with the uncertainty in our current environment. This Let's Connect session is ideal for Chief Financial Officers, Chief Operating Officers, and other executives who want to learn how other organizations are navigating budget uncertainty.
Join David Friedman, CFO, as he shares tools and approaches organizations are utilizing to manage their budgets and cash-flow while coping with today's uncertainties. He will also look ahead to provide ideas for planning your financial future as we move into 2021. Throughout David's presentation, we will use breakout rooms to facilitate small group discussion where everyone will have the opportunity to ask questions, share, and network together.
This is a program of the Let's Connect Virtual Discussion Series.
Speakers:
An accomplished senior executive and strategic advisor, David Friedman is immediate past CFO of Water.org, a global not-for-profit organization based here in Kansas City. Prior to Water.org, he was a management consultant and interim CFO while also a guest lecturer on how effective CFO's excel in their roles and responsibilities.
Earlier, David was Chief Financial Officer of Mazda Motor Corporation, based in Hiroshima, Japan, directing their global finance and planning activities and serving on the Board of Directors. At Mazda, he drove record profits, implemented a dynamic strategic growth plan, and dramatically improved risk management. Prior to Mazda, David spent almost 20 years working for Ford Motor Company in a series of increasingly responsible roles both in Detroit and across Asia.
You!
Your active participation is highly encouraged. No one has all of the solutions, but everyone has something worth contributing. Your small group discussion participation will help others share, grow, and learn.
